50 cent isn't trying to be controlled. Iovine wasn't cut into his business ventures the same way with Dre and Em. They all wanted a piece of it and 50 cent isn't the guy that's going to be quiet. Iovine could tell Dre, here you take $50 million and I'll take $300 million and Dre would be happy. 50 would have problems with that. His mentality is simply to be in charged and go against anything.

my life was garbage and was most likely interscope's idea. if it was up to 50 on what direction he wants his album to go that record would've never been released as a single; fyi its not up to 50. Thats the reason why he keeps releasing all the fire on his mixtapes. There's no reason none of those mixtape tracks could've been chose to be on an album but Interscope wants to be the slavemaster.

i understand why 50 didn't make another Interscope album, because he said something to the effect of using O.P.M. for albums, but there's no reason he can't do something like a Raekwon or Lloyd Banks and just drop an indie heater and have a label do the promo
