How come black men dont hide their preference for lightskin/white women

You are allowed to have whatever justification you want for not liking what you don't like. If I don't like something, chances are there's a reason I don't like it, and more times than not the reasons I won't like something will be negative. We have freedom of speech. Success is irrelevant in this discussion. I am black if I let society defined me I would hate myself to have been born black but I couldnt be more content.
What I am trying to understand from you is when something is preference and when something is colorism. Cause frankly you contradict yourself a lot. And if what you are saying is normal/acceptable that would imply that even in a black society there would be a color hierarchy where some will be elevated more than others.
So at this point, is colorism the white men fault or an inherent form of discrimination exercised by blacks.

And ALL types men are influenced by the media NOT just black men as you are implying. Black people by and large are not seen as physically attractive by most people.
