How come by the time you learn the keys to life it’s too late to apply?

Late bloomer?
I’m talking getting money and being successful

Do good in school, get an education
I’m starting to think that it wasn’t meant for me
I can’t imagine myself in a corporate environment
And I had no idea what I really wanted to do

Me dropping out with only 10k in student loans may have been a blessing

Lol because youth is wasted on the young and money is wasted on the old.

Life is a racket, don't you know that? All the major things that decide your fate - your parents, gender, race, nationality, time period, genetics, personality, how you look - you don't choose.

There are no keys to life, people get lucky and blindly fall into shyt. People get unlucky and have misery visited upon them.

You just think there are keys, because people say there are keys, to make up for the fact that all the important shyt in their life they had nothing to do with it and they can go back and interject all the shyt that they "chose" that got them to whereever they are now.

It's called Winning Bias or Survivorship bias.

Survivorship bias - Wikipedia

You know how sports, when a team wins, and a team loses, people got all types of reasons that really nothing to do with a team just being better, better trainers, better scouts, better execs, better coaches, better facilities.

No, people talk about fukking momentum and chemistry and clutchness. shyt that nobody can prove because they can't just accept that somebody is just better beyond things that can't be controlled by the players on the court.

Lebron James is just better.

Stephen Curry is just better.

There's nothing anybody can do about that shyt. It is nothing they can do about it. I don't give a fukk how many exercises you do, how hard you practice, them motherfukkers are just better. You are gonna come across shyt in life, where you are gonna have to just tip your hat and go be at peace with yourself.

If Stephen Curry hit at 35 foot game winning shot, ain't no point in being like, "Well, I should've guarded his right hand." That man is Stephen Curry, that's what he do. You tried, it's over now.

Majority of people miseries have nothing to do with them. Majority of people fortunes have nothing to do with them. Going back in time and having eureka moments is just bias. What's the point in looking back in 5 years and caring about all the shyt you could've done?

You are you. You was gonna do whatever the fukk you did anyway.

So do what you want, why people think there are rules, guidelines and regulations to this living shyt? You are here now, all the important shyt been decided for you. You are just living out what has already been decided. This shyt is a script with no rewrites and flashbacks delay the story.

Go have fun.

It's not totally your fault.

Unless you grew up in that environment you probably didn't know just how far an ivy league education would take you.

I remember a thread on here where a kid chose a full ride to university of Alabama over Harvard with a partial and I was the only person in that thread who thought he made a poor decision. It's much easier to get into a good grad/professional school coming out of an ivy as opposed to a public university (especially since they have grade inflation).

As another anecdote my sister went to med school and I remember her telling me that half of her class had doctors as parents. When you grow up in that world you are taught from a young age what it takes to get your foot in the door at these schools.

Basically that's just my long winded answer to basically say that you aren't alone on not knowing about all that because most of us that didn't grow up elite never knew about that shyt either.

Because people choose not to listen to others that have been thru it. The elders or leaders/mentors will advice the young and the young are too arrogant to listen until they live thru the same shyt and arrive at the same conclusions. rinse recycle, repeat.

People value experience over advice...
