now a lot of cacs did jazz and some did take songs from blacks but how come they didn't completely take over the genre and phase out blacks like they did with rock music??

Yall know there's plenty of jazz by white artists, correct? In fact you could say most jazz artists were white in the 50s, and there were plenty in the 60s and 70s.

shyt the most well known jazz festival worldwide takes place in Europe...
Jazz is kind of international at this point...
For example, my favorite trumpeter right now is a Japanese American guy. He plays in Jose James' band..
Not to mention, every major jazz lounge singer is a white women...
The difference is the jazz music is respected as a classical form of music and it is never mocked and usually dignified regardless of the race of the performer. And every performer respects th black roots of the music that is what separates it from Rock...
