I've never heard anyone categorize Drake as being an artist that makes "street shyt". There's a certain level of authenticity that comes with making that type of music. I've never seen him in that light. Or even consider him to be an actual MC. He's a pop artist. G Rap, M.O.P., Smif-N-Wessun, Mobb, LOX, early Wu, BDP, Black Moon, Ultramagnetic, etc. That's what street music always looked like in Hip Hop. Drake was never built like that.
For what and why? He's barely anyone.
