Anyone saying Genuwine is a better singer is tone death. Usher is better technically and he has a better singing style/tone. Neither of them match prime MJ(but not many do). Genuwine has some hits but they just don’t compare to 8701 & Confessions

Exactly & @Homeboy Runny-Ray don't know what the hell he's even talking about.

Dude is obviously biased towards usher & has no clear knowledge on r&b let along singing otherwise he wouldn't saying the dumb sh!t he spewing out.

Michael Jackson wasn't a vocalist in the 80s:rudy:

Either get your ears checked or re up on your knowledge.:camby:

I asked you how old you were multiple times, and you run from that question like its the plague.

you aint got no rap for me.

aint no bias on my end. theres just stuff that youre overly impressed by because youre not as seasoned, and youre not even trying to do the knowledge. you rather just boost your childhood holy grails.

MJ's great vocal days were before the '80s. in fact, he lost a large chunk of his original fanbase when he made thriller and all that stuff.

step ya game up before you try to play somebody, young bul.

No he didn't idiot.

Black people were still going to the shows & buying the album heavily.

It's obvious that you don't even know what you're talking about.

Mj was still regards as one of the best vocalist in the industry during the 80s.

I've already mentioned that I grew up on
usher & ginuwine op some posts back.

Another thing age doesnt equate to knowledge otherwise you would know better.

& No you're noy knowledgeable saying some of the dumbest opinions on the genre.

chill out with the name-calling, you dweeb.

and what I said obviously went over your head. go talk to some THURL oldheads that grew up on the mike in the 70s. most of them weren't feeling pop-mike like that. I didn't say that all black people stopped listening to him, you dumb f*ck.

and youre still hiding your age. and no, you don't have any knowledge to compensate for it. you just sit around and try to write your own history, while being in awe over mediocre chit.

edit: matter fact, lord jamar even broke it down for you, so I don't have to waste my time. this chit is a COMMON opinion.

No rewriting history idiot.

& Lord Jamar isn't the say all be all. That's just his personal opinion.

:mjlol:

I know you didn't say all people idiot, but you did say large chunk which is why I said black people still rocked with him heavy.

Black people most definitely were still fans of mj heavy during thriller. Especially after Motown 25.

Thriller just crossed over more due to the music videos being on MTV & moonwalk craze.

You even got people like Jamie Foxx that was at one of the victory concerts & witnessed it.

It's pathetic how condescending you are & yet so clueless when it comes to the genre.

Don't worry about age be more concerned about your lack of insight.

Usher was a child star. That's a major advantage

People still messed with MJ up through Dangerous. So just because a few people stopped liking MU that mean he wasn’t a talented singer? Not true.
But this ain’t about MJ.
Are you still saying that Genuwine was a better singer and made better music than Usher? Or have you abandoned that theory?

Usher wasn’t a child star. Now was a child star. Usher was a teen star. There is a difference

The thing with MJ is that he had songs thst resonated avross genres, cultures, and all kinds of demos with Thriller. Like "PYT" and "Wanna Be Starting Something" are massive with the Black community. I've been to family functions where those are like essential records. "Billie Jean" is near universal. "Beat It" was like the record for them, not us.
