No offense, but everyone keeps parroting pretty much word for word what you've said in this post like they're trying to convince themselves.

It's just my humble opinion, but I don't agree with Cornette or Bret Hart when it comes to HHH; the internet really going hard this year trying to convince anyone that will listen that HHH is Grandmaster Sexay status.

You can't take anything Cornette says seriously. Look in the dictionary for "sneak disser" and you get a pic of Cornette. He tucks tail whenever he's around anyone other than a lapdog. He kissed Russo's ass when they were together in TNA and he'd do the same to HHH et al if he was in WWE

Bret's just a jealous guy

HHH is an all-time great worker and deserves his spot

HHH has had more title reigns, been on top longer but whenever there's a list, poll, or opinion its always HBK > HHH.

I think everyone would agree HBK is the better worker, better on the mic IMO and has had more memorable moments/feuds than HHH did. So to me it'll always be HBK > HHH. What ya think TSC, Is there anything he can do about it?

I don't think anyone who is serious would say Triple H is Grandmaster Sexy status, but he's definitely not Rock, Austin, Shawn status

Rock, Austin, Hogan have their status because they are the biggest draws in the history of the United States

Shawn, Bret, Savage, Flair etc...got their status because they were some of the greatest in ring performers ever

Triple H doesn't fall in either category. He was a solid draw, but nothing special. He was a really good worker in his prime, even excellent at times, but he wasn't a legendary in ring performer like the 4 guys I mentioned. He's in a weird space historically.

That was a non answer, HBK is a tier one talent and if he never got hurt, he would main event more manias than Rock and Austin combined . Deal with it, or deny reality but HBK as worker blends well with every talent current and past. The tag team run with Austin was sick. Injured he gave Austin his career match.
