I cant forget the songs that let me know they were beefing

Come get me/ Come and get me

Direct call and response

Nas 2nd verse was at jayz

Jayz 1st verse was at nas

Nas set it off on Premier and Jay responded a month later over Timbaland

oh word, they beef was kinda deep looking back. Also have:

Nas dissing Jay on The Message (Lex with sets the minimum; Jay took it as a diss - he admitted to take offense to the line on the BET Blueprint Special they did for the BP album in 2001, and Nas kinda co signed this via Complex ""I saw Jay Z driving a Lexus with the TVs in them. I got rid of my Lexus at that point and I was looking for the next best thing. It wasn’t a shot at Jay but it was just saying that’s the minimum you gotta have. It’s not a shot at him but he inspired that line. It wasn’t necessarily a shot at him but because the song was a shot at everybody, he fell into that. But he definitely inspired that line."

Nas on I Am's "We Will Survive (and they claim to be New York's king? It ain't about that...")

Jay-Z Is That Yo Chick (rumored to be about Nas BM; I don't think it is however)

Nas on Stillmatic's "You Da Man" (Your arms to short to box with God)

Nas on Stillmatic's "Destroy And Rebuild" (Even Jigga want the crown, how that sound? Poor thing")

Jay-Z in 2003 on Rap City Freestyle (They shooting! But nobody dying, somebody lying...")

Nas on Star Wars (Jehova's witness, him and his co defendants, i eat em like Lucky Charms...)

Nas on B EZ (opening bars going at Jay)

and the various Source/XXL interviews and radio interviews where they took shots at each other

Is that yo chick is definitely a diss to nas.

It was recorded during the same duration and for the same record (vol 3) under the same producer (timbo)

That really is the proof that Ether burned Jay's soul. He went from being the bully in the battle to letting himself get insecure of the bullying he received from the public. He had everyone thinking he was a materialistic misogynist that sold his soul for riches, and true or not, it was then that he felt the need to let the world know he was really a good guy

When the twin towers dropped I was the first in line:mjcry:
Every time there is a tragedy I'm the first one to help:mjcry:
They call a misogynist, but they don't call me the dude that gives gifts at the projects:mjcry:

Y'all help him cheat:mjcry:

This from the BULLY of rap, the man that was on top of the world at summerjam

jay-z-and-MJno-text.jpg

It was some masterful shyt how Nas, flipped the script on him and became the bully, forcing Jay to:whoa: and try to appeal for public sympathy.

Tbh, this continued on the Black Album, which is an entire album of Jay attempting to justify his thug.

nas had jay crying for the next 2 albums after blueprint 1:pachaha:
