What did the non-black parent do to them 
Met one that had serious self hate problems, would always wear contacts, could not leave the house without doing something to her hair.
Met another, she saw a black dude chasing after a black girl down the street with a knife. Then tells me
"This is why white people want to kill us." Like WHAT?!
They all have stories about how they grew up and it was never positive.
Tragic arrangements indeed
