I am as big a Lex fan as the next man (shyt trap music in general). But all those nikkas styles are pretty much the exact same if you would have told me Lex produced BAnds Make her Dance I wouldnt be surprised. They all have their own intricacies and are dopw within their own right but in reference to the thread topic you cant name a producer whose sound is remotely close to the Neptunes.

And as far as Mike Will vs Lex, thats splitting hairs they both damn near on the same lvl to me, its just one is currently more popular than the other; but both >>>>Young Chop tho.

I think Chad was the one behind most of their melodies.

During that period where he fell back to focus on his family and it was just Pharrell on the boards, a lot of that shyt sounded soulless.

I was gonna say something similar. If their beats were so simple they would have been many replicas. If its simple and popular, best believe their are gonna be MANY clones. For example Lex only been out a couple years and has already been replaced (Mike, Chop)
