thats neither here nor there.

its all about outlets. or in this case; the lack thereof.

:what:

new orleans is the reason why the south blew up and they carried it for years. what yall got amnesia or something?

as for bounce music, whenever a bounce record or even a knockoff bounce record gets national exposure, it blows up big.

plus it blends in perfectly with club scenes in other regions. especially places like philly, baltimore, DC, etc.

theres absolutely nothing niche about bounce music or new orleans rap in general. its the exact opposite of the truth.
Whatever you say. :stopitslime: FYI, Miami, IE Luke Campbell, made the south pop off. Ironically, he took the sound and rappers of Oakland, CA to blow. So, in actuality, the south's movement started in the Bay Area.

I love to see birds dance to bounce music but crossover appeal is it appealing to cacs. :yeshrug: I do not see cacs vibing to that too tough.

luke & 2 live crew were the 1st to plant the flag from the south but that is not the same thing as making something pop off.

i guess the 2nd sentence is about master p. well, no limit actually became major players after they started moving away from the bay sound. now granted, thats arguably their best stuff, and it may just be a coincidence that they got bigger afterwards, but still. and i actually end up arguing with people all the time because they dont know that no limit started in the bay.

this style of rap always gone take a front seat to other styles of rap in the city even other southern styles. what im seeing now is that upcoming artist new to the scene are realizing if you want yo chit supported and played then you gotta start incorporating that bounce element into yo chit. It dont make no kind of sense to be mad at the city when you trying to sound like something that aint even from the city.
