How come no one respects the Wii for winning the gen 7 console wars

Wii motion not was accurate. didn't Nintendo get in trouble for the controller they had to replace it or something

a lot of people bought the console because they did a great job initially marketing it. but a large number of those people just didnt buy games. a ridiculous amount of people probably just had wii sports, the dance dance revolution games and first party nintendo games.

the library of games was one sided and third party support was basically nonexistent.

I used to love playing the Wii. It's sitting in my closet now tho since i got newer systems. I think it broke too.

Because it wasn't a real win. Basically a fad, 80% of whose owners basically bought the thing, played it for a couple months, and never used it again.

My Wii is in a shoebox under my bathroom sink. I bought it a few weeks before Christmas 2014. And haven't used it since a week after New Years 2015

To gamers sales doesnt always equate to winning. Compared to the 360 and ps3 the Wii was asscheeks
