oh you were serious

The Wii had the weakest game library of that generation and was also behind the Xbox 360 and PS3 when it came to technology.
Cause it would hurt their Fanboy sensibilities
I was telling people during that run that the Wii would damage the Nintendo brand in the long run and it did. The Wii was garbage and the reason the Wii U flopped big time.
because soccer moms owned the console
truth be told a W is a W but I never bought the console because it wasn't an upgrade over my gamecube![]()
Nobody playing Wii Sports
Global Total as of 29th Oct 2016 (units): 82.53m
Because it wasn't a real win.
Basically a fad, 80% of whose owners basically bought the thing, played it for a couple months, and never used it again.
People who bought Wiis were non gamers. Just another fad that everyone in America try to ride on.
This is a non-issue.
I agree with you.
The Wii U flopped due to poor marketing. Exhibit A:
It never appealed to me either. Never bought it. In fact, it was the first Nintendo console I didn't buy.

In all honesty the same could be said for PS3/360/PS4/XB1 owners. Back on the PS3 most people on my friend list would spend more time on netflix than actually playing a game. A mediocre game with great graphics would be hyped to death on the internet, people would buy it, play it for a week then go back to netflix. You Madden/NBA2K types treat games like glorified tech demos ONLY being concerned with the graphics, the framerates, and other irrelevant technical details. It's the reason why a boring piece of shyt like Assassin's Creed and CoD are able to sell millions every year.
I'm merely talking from my personal experience and from what I've observed. Gaming has become sorta a status symbol like owning an iphone or a new pair of Jordans. I've known people to brag about buying a console or a game at a midnight release. Yeah you're one of the first people to buy Battlefield 1 at the midnight release.....so what? Want a cookie? I get the vibe that these people don't genuinely enjoy gaming and only doing it to 'show off'.

Because most nikkas would rather enjoy playing a video game sitting using a controller/mouse instead of moving their arms and hands constantly
Maybe I'm wrong
Exactly! You're a 100% right. Nikkas ain't got time for all that extra crap.
Plus you can't really put no time in a Wii.
With the PS3, xbox 360, pc you can put in hours and play online.![]()
