....that is definitely a Chris Brown diss. :heh:

But I mean, again....are you supposed to give Drake props for that? He SPIT it, but did he actually write it? There will forever be doubt cast regarding whether or not HE actually wrote something, which perpetually has me with the :wtb: if we talmbout attributing lyrical prowess. If not, then he need to stop talking like an EMCEE and start speaking strictly as an entertainer.

Because if we use your logic, damn near some of your favorite rappers and or legends would be considered less than great. Having writers doesn't matter. Dre is considered a legend and had plenty of people write for him.

Also using/buying a beat that was already produced does not mean you have writers. You should probably look into how you get a writing credit on a song, a lot of sycophants on the coli think every name on a song with a writing credit wrote the entire thing. To put it plainly, you could get a writing credit for saying something like; telling someone to take out a word or add in an adlib. It's that simple. QM already said he didn't write for him, and there has been no solid proof that he used a ghostwriter, unless someone could provide me with an interview of said writer(s) saying he wrote for him.

The problem with online forums like this one, is that its all conspiracy theory, and fanatics will buy into it. Allegations are believed as truth just to spark conversation.

There's been no solid proof yet we have heard reference tracks with the exact same bars?

And you wanna compare this to Dre who is a producer first and foremost? And had never tried to be a top 5 or 10 rapper?

That said, Drake is the biggest out and he and his fans should enjoy his run while it's on. He drops some piff and even tho I joke about him picking good reference tracks to memorize if I fukk with his shyt I'll still bump it. I bump For Free still. No matter who wrote it Drake still on top but y'all gotta accept that years and years from now people are still gonna be bringing up the fact that he used writers.

When people talk about who the nicest was from this era it's gonna be J.Cole vs Kendrick and Drake stans are salty as fukk about it.

Starting a verse with a reference sure, but that's common. A lot of rappers pay homage by adding in or finishing off a verse with a classic line. J.Cole does it, French does it, and even Pusha T. But we understand that it comes from a place of flattery not thievery. This guy isn't taking entire songs verse by verse. But you're right, let me specify, if someone could provide me evidence wherein he jacks an entire song verse for verse, I'll concede, because that's what I see from posts.

In that vain however I still haven't seen proof that he has a ghost writer, merely that he knows and uses famous one liners from other songs. But as I've already stated, legends have done that a plenty.

Drake bores me. He's just played out, his monotone voice, half a faq wigger delivery, changing identities, same old subject matter. It's boring.
