How come no one told me how great of an anime Highschool of The Dead was?

Yo I don't even know where to start brehs, where can I cop some mangas online? Ima be on a plane for 20 hours in a couple of weeks so reading this shyt would be awesome, I've even heard some people say the one piece manga is better than the anime

one piece is the only anime/manga where i'd say i prefer the anime over the manga. they add a lot of funny shyt to the anime that don't appear in the manga.

i'm more of a manga guy because i don't have the attention span to watch and read the subs of 100+ episodes.

manga recommendations..

fairy tail - the style is very similar to one piece. if you like one piece, chances are you'll like fairy tail but one piece is better imo.

ares - the artwork in this might be my favorite of all time. definitely check this one out. i remember it being fairly short too. not too many people know about this one it seems.. but it's very good.

breaker - another good fighting manga. there's a part 2 called breaker new waves but i've never checked it out.

bleach - ehhhh. i don't really know how i feel about bleach. when it gets good, it reaches some ridiculous levels. soul society but when it gets slow.. that shyt is unbearable. i'd say to give it a try if you're already into one piece and naruto since those were the "big 3" for a while.

slam dunk - this one's old as hell and the artwork is crazy outdated.. but it's fukking hilarious. it's about this punk joining the hs basketball team to impress a girl. the only negative is that i don't know if you'll find a decent translation because it's so old.

katekyou hitman reborn - it takes 100 chapters for this one to get good. and the first 100 chapters will seem like some kiddie shyt with VERY little action. but then it gets crazy out of nowhere.

Fairy Tale has anime but it's very rinse, wash, repeat...Fight an enemy, enemy beats them up, they get upgraded, Natsu gets angry...they win.

It's not bad though, some great fighting scenes in it. I think Beelzebub and Fairy Tale are good just for some action pieces.

For more plot than that though and quality action, Hunter X Hunter and Yu Yu Hakusho are OP styled combat with pretty good plot development too.

And now I enjoy it more than regular shows.

That show is great, the only thing i don't get is why all the girls wearing skimpy clothes... to fight zombies, those clothes offer no protection in battle.

I cant give you a top 10 must see because thats just not really possible with anime because it all comes down to preference, but for now, ninja scroll is an absolute MUST... i dont know if u smoke, but smoke first and watch it and u'll really thank me. After that, i'd go with cowboy bebop the movie although watching the series will make it better, project aiko was the shyt back in the day, also fatal fury the animated movie (the one with terry having to fight the god of war), those are the top ones i can think off the top of my head. But Ninja scroll is the epitome of anime movies. Im sure its on youtube. OH... MACROSS PLUS... the movie.. Ninja scroll and Macross Plus the movie my two favorites of all time. Youtube those right away you gonna love me for tellin you.
