i thinks its funny how society works in a sense that people work and slave they whole lives all in the name of they kids education

but they not even getting the best education lolol

mentally, spiritually, physically even emotionally alot of schools nowadays are unstable.lil nikkas cant even get a decent breakfast and a peace of mind at school

they tryna teach kids about gay shyt, whitemans account of world history, too many other kids distracting the go getters, even the daydreamers cant even get they jetlife goin now cuz they would be pronouced some kind of learning disability and sent to special ed...smh

if you really are concerned about not only the education of your child but also the development of you child

imo alot of people should consider homeschooling they kids

or are they too busy for that too? lololol

We homeschool my 12 year old, and we will probably start homeschooling my youngest one when he reaches middle school. It's going pretty good, I think it's a peace of mind that you have when you kind of control your seed's learning environment. My wife works from home, so it's easier that way, although I do provide help for him when he needs it when I get home from work.

I would want my future kids to have friends and join sports. I don't know if that's possible with homeschool.

Cuz most single parents can't. Someone gotta pay the bills and if you not workin from home how you gon home school?

For 2 parent homes idk. School is an experience and damn near mandatory one. It's where you build social skills and learn how to be part of a society. At home all you know is family and if you not going outside you not gon know how to talk to people without being awkward

Watch the movie "growing op" dude homeschooled his whole life and all he know is basic speech and how to grow weed. He's smart as fukk though.

Classic line "Public school teaches you how to memorize, not understand."

You don't care about your kids having friends and going through the ups and downs of social interaction?

Thats hot. Go Tech btw

For me its sumthing I've thought about but with where we live its not economically feasable. But what we do is suppliment their education. My son is 4 but he is doing basic math and I just got him to start solving for x and hitting him off with basic word problems. I have 0 faith in public schools so come fall we sending him to a prep school. It's gonna hit them pockets hard but in the end it's worth it due to quality of education. I mean you went to Tech so i know when you were a freshman you were looking like :wtf: how dont you know this @ some of your classmates. Well it's like that in most of these schools. My lady is a teacher and the stories she tells me on a regular basis ... I aint putting my kids in that shyt

Yea I dont know about this whole homeschooling fiasco. School isn't just about learning but also the interaction you get with other kids. You can always supplement your child's learning at home by getting them books or movies if you truly concerned about something they aren't picking up at school.

I have a coworker who's husband home schools their kids. The kids want to play sports for a school but she won't let them. They don't have many friends either from what she says and only hang with family members. You have to let a kid be a kid and if you don't think the school is teaching them adequately, then tutor them at night to make up for that.

This. This is what I believe as well.

I don't have children but I think the best way to go is schooling them both at home and school.

Help them with their homework and try to make em learn about cultural stuff ur interested in, like that they get an education other than what they are taught at school.

But public schools are pretty terrible in some countries and I'm guessing the US is one of them. Particularly poor public schools.

Some of the schools I went to, if they considered u a problem child they would forget about you and just focus on the good students. Like they don't give a f*ck. U don't wanna study and behave urself? Fine, do whatever the f*ck u want then. That's how kids get left behind.

Also, poor public schools have staff problems and sh!t. I remember one time we went like 4 months without a maths teacher. There was nobody there, they just gave us a free period. Also we went one whole school year without a music teacher.

Anyway, long story short, if u want ur kid to get a good education u should educate them at home as well as school.
