The Coli in 2017, where Mega is a snake of the highest magnitude, and habitual liar/fake gangsta Prodigy is a man of integrity whose versions of what happened are gospel. Remarkable.

Its just Nas stans, who will take any opportunity to ish on Mega.

Im nowhere near a Nas stan...how is P a liar? The same dude who admitted to crying when he found out his woman was cheating? Would a liar willingly admit that??

I'm not saying P is lying at all. And I don't believe P was lying about that situation. But he never spoke bad about Mega in that situation, so if he didnt, your shouldn't either.

The thread is based on Prodigy's story. If he left out pieces feel free to fill them in. Based on what Prodigy said Cormega and Ice were not his people, no matter what P felt. Ya mans don't let that type of shyt happen to you.
Bottomline...theyre talking about words, while we're talking about actions..

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Who's the "E" guy Camron kept referring to on that "story to tell" diss to Nas
E money bags most likely

4. Eric "E-Moneybags" Smith

Nas: "I hung with E-Money too, the fukking truth" ("A Queens Story")

50: "I'm forgetting Lefty and Jazz, Pretty Tony and Lance/Head Lou, Mel son, Troy and E-Moneybags"

E-Moneybags was somewhat of a rapper himself, but also involved enough in hood life that his 2001 murder was supposedly committed by Supreme Team affiliates. In addition, Prodigy claimed in his song "Veteran's Memorial Pt. 2" that Smith killed Black Just in a misguided attempt at murdering Supreme Team head Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff. This claim, while unverified, is given credence by the fact that Preme himself brought Black Just to the ER after the fatal shooting.

Eric Smith (November 19, 1969 – July 16, 2001), better known by his stage name E-Moneybags, was an American rapper. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, but raised in the Queens. He released one album. DJ Kay Slay released a tribute mixtape to E-Moneybags after his death. The mixtape contained freestyles and unreleased tracks by E-Moneybags.

During his career, E-Moneybags worked with several well-known hip hop acts, like Tupac Shakur, Live Squad, Prodigy, Noreaga, Bravehearts, and Nas. He released his first (and only) album in 1999, entitled In E-Moneybags We Trust.

Later, he would find himself in a dispute with fellow rapper Jay-Z. The bad blood is thought to have originated over Smith's displeasure with Jay-Z having an artist on his Roc-A-Fella Records roster named "H Money Bags". A verbal confrontation between the two occurred during an interview with Jay-Z on New York's Hot 97 radio show. Prodigy, an associate of E-Moneybags, called the radio station and asked for Jay-Z. After being connected with the rapper, he handed the phone to E-Moneybags and the two began to argue on air.

Following the very public argument, E-Moneybags recorded a couple of diss songs aimed toward Jay-Z (none of which provoked a response from Jay-Z). The best known of these records was entitled "The Gospel." This song is also significant as it is the last song he recorded before his murder.

E-Moneybags was killed 9:45 PM, at Queens Village, July 16th, 2001. Many believe he was murdered by hit men connected with Queen's infamous drug trafficking gang, The Supreme Team. It is alleged that the murder was retaliatory after E-Moneybags killed McGriff's associate, Colbert Johnson in December, 1999.

In February 2007, drug-gang Supreme Team's founder Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff was found guilty of ordering the murder of E-Moneybags and Troy Singleton in 2001. He was sentenced to life in prison for this and other drug-related crimes.

Big Noyd, Cormega and E-Moneybags were in Queens when Money was shot ten times in July 2001 as he sat in his Lincoln Navigator parked on the street. In late August 2001, police found a videotape. On the video, which was filmed July 13 - July 16, Smith is seen driving and parking his car on the Queens street where he was gunned down at 9:45 PM. The video was shot by Dennis Crosby, a drug-dealing McGriff associate, and Nicole Brown, Crosby's girlfriend.

He is survived by his son, Eric Smith Jr.

E is one Nas and dem Lil homies from da Bridge... Him and Cam were also real cool... He was fucin wit Cam and his people on some street shyt...According to Cam, E got in a lil Jam and needed a couple of dollars... (Literally like $500).. He called CAM to borrow the money (Which Cam said was NOT a problem)... He just thought it was fuced up how E was rollin wit Nas and couldn't call him for $500. So thats the E Cam was referring to, basically implying Nas don't care of his nikkas.

Plus Cormega did some slick shyt by hopping on a P song where he was getting at Jay-Z and dissed Nas (Thun & Kicko), which made Nas think Prodigy was dissing him too because he didn't know it was a Mobb Deep track that was never meant for him.
He was dissing Nas, regardless of what he may have said later. QB dudes Re funny like that. Nighttime Vultures is about Nore but let them tell it, they never had beef.

He just passed so its natural that people are going to be...a tad bit more charitable when it comes to discussing P in these sort of situations to protect his image, even i'm guilty of that to a certain degree. Though, I tend to lean more towards your perspective on the issue. Not saying I hold Mega's word in some high regard, however, P, over the years, and especially with his book, has displayed a character that in no way that I find principled or trustworthy.
