because after bulletproof wallets, ghost fell off to me and i know a million and 1 nikkas will claim that's blasphemous and ridiculous but it's what i think and feel :yeshrug:

now rae did put out that wack ass lex diamond story, which i haven't listened to since 03' but it ain't like ghost was really puttin' out great albums like that that either

for my money's worth, rae put out a better album than all of ghost's album post bulletproof when he came back with only built 4 cuban linx 2 and this ain't to say cuban linx 2 is a classic because it's not but it was a better album than all of those ghost albums post bulletproof wallets to me :manny:

but why y'all think nikkas sleep on rae like that? :patrice:and this is no knock at ghost because i got love for him but i just think rae been the better rapper post 2003 :ld:

OB4CL I think is the most influential solo wu effort, vs Ironman, Supreme Clientele, Bulletproof Wallets, Fishscale was the first time Wu touched Dilla/MF Doom I think - that shyt was ahead of its time.
:yeshrug:

Ghost just held the late 90s early-mid 2000s down for the Wu, which is a long time. And he still hasn't fallen off, his shyt with BBNG was solid.

...still waiting on DOOMStarks though :sadbron:

Also, I don't remember the full story, but Ghost wasn't getting paid like the other members, so there might be respect for taking that hit. I doubt he was ever really strapped for cash post-teenage years though :myman:

Also, I think they have similar styles, which is why they work well together, but Ghost seemed to me to be a step above Rae with the flows. Does Rae have a 'Nutmeg' :mindblown: Ghost was always touching crazy 3-bar beats and shyt.

i'm revisitin' immobilarity right now and obviously the album sounds 10 times better than it did in 99' since rap itself has gone to shyt but this ain't half as bad it :ehh:

it's just it ain't only built 4 cuban linx :yeshrug:

the real hiphop.
Ghost didn't fall off after BPW... :francis:
Pretty Toney was hot, Fishscale was fire, he even had fire tracks on Big Doe Rehab, Ghost Deini was enjoyable to me... after that he seemed to give up the ambitions of being great... still, that's 16 years of dropping dope material... :wow:

only album that had a couple of songs that i did like on it was big doe rehab which ironically did come out after both pretty toney and fishscale. but i love the song slow down with chrisette michelle. that's my shyt

pretty toney was garbage to me. i don't get why and or how people dikk ride that album. i think that's where new fans started comin' in. like more hipsters
fishscale was ghost tryin' to be "ghost" again but it wasn't there. he sounded flabby at times too. some nice beats were on there though

because raekwon dropped the worst sophmore album in the history of history.
This line of thinking killed him.

Fact of the matter is, Rae was still in top form on Immobilarity, it's just the beats fell off for the most part. Lex Diamonds was a solid album after that but the damage was done. People can't think for themselves :francis:

stop stannin' and deal with the real. ghost fell off a long time and fukk an action bronson :mjlol:

Breh I honestly feel the opposite, I like Ghost's new stuff, The Brown Tape, 36 Seasons, Sour Soul

meanwhile I feel like

Is falling off, even though it's better than 90% of shyt out there. Just felt flat
