Ghost just has been waaaaay more consistent. It's not rocket science. Ghost consistently puts out quality albums and Rae got Immobilarity, The Lex Diamond Story and FILA in his discography. Ghost has shown time and time again that he can make top notch albums without RZA, meanwhile Rae's only great albums had RZA's touches on it (the 2 Linx albums). And Ghost didn't fall off after Fishscale. More Fish, Wizard of Poetry, Big Doe Rehab, the live instrumentation albums have all been solid and everybody and their mother knows Ghost will have at least 2 more near classic/classic albums when Doomstarks and Supreme Clientele 2 drops. Don't get me wrong, I love Rae, and he's definitely one of the greatest...but he's no Starks. There's a reason why Ghost is the only Wu MC that consistently gets named when Top Ten MC ever conversations take place.

while ghost's albums have been better than rae's, i wouldn't say by much
fishscale = neither here nor there to me. some nice beats but ghost won't really rockin' it like that to me and i know that sounds crazy but it just sounded like ghost was tryin' instead of bein'
pretty toney = garbage
big doe = ok in spots but nothin' to write home about
all them other ghost albums since then have just been a bunch of vanity projects really
rae got a shytty catalog aside from his debut and let down sophomore album but ghost wins to most because he carried that torch into the 2000s with supreme and i think nikkas just favor ghost's style more
but after bulletproof, ghost lost me really and bulletproof won't some great album but the last 1 i really enjoyed by him
but mc wise as of the last few years? rae got this to me. ghost sound flabby these days and has for a long time

Ghost don't have a bad album on his resume. As flabby as you may think he sounds, you'd be hard pressed to find 5 negative reviews for a Ghost album in the last 10 years. He's one of the most consistently good MCs ever.
Ghost is a also a more versatile MC than Rae. There's just songs that Ghost does so effortlessly, that Rae can't do. And as good as Rae is as a storyteller, Ghost is better and one of the Top 5 storytellers ever.
Like I said, I love Rae but people praise Ghost more because Ghost is better.
