We do it's just not the be all n end all of good music.
Why Only rap can be judged this way shows it's not grown like other genres. Focusing on only the technical aspects of music and breaking EVERYTHING down just sucks the life out of things.

I get what you are saying but at the end of the day I just want a great song. The greats do both. I recall saying what you have stated to Rhymefest once and he told me flat out...if yhats all he focused on he would be boring. As I got older I understand him. Just find and appreciate those who do both or change the game yourself...much respect

But you always just bringing em up to bring em up. Like, you probably ain't wrong with your threads enough of the time, but I can't really give a fukk without no context.
I'ma check out Live and Let Die cuz of your thread, but I'm glad you ain't break down none of them rhymes. I'm trying to see the big picture of the album, so what I give a fukk about a few specific multisyllabic rhymes?
