How come refs never shoot around or practice dribblin moves during timeouts?

Is there a rule that states they can't?

If so, I would get fired as a ref after 1 game.

*lebron air balls a 3 and it goes outta bounds leading to a timeout*

*I blow whistle signaling timeout, get the ball, dribble into 3 pt shot, look at lebron and say "Like that"*
