Its weird how soccer fans throw vets in the BUSHES as they age...i remember RONALDINHO was goat status now hes not even respected as a memory
Dinho threw himself in the bushes. Dude stopped giving a fukk and went straight to holmes in his mid 20's.

Word? I remember him being the shyt and KAKA being next....go figure
Dude started eating too good, then didn't stop, and stopped giving much of a fukk about anything. Kaka got hit by the injury bug, lost all of his burst, speed, and agility, and quite unsettlingly went from "Who is better C.Ronaldo, Messi, or Kaka?!?!?!?!??!" to :flabbynsick: in like six months.

Actually it does. A lot of soccer fans still talk about Maradona, Pele, Platini and just about any good (retired) players to shyt on current ones.

America didn't invent "Generational Hate". It's everywhere.

Soccer is a great sport.:what: Just not the American trash aka MLS.

I wish I had the time to watch. My favorite league is the EPL with Arsenal being my favorite team, but I just have no time and time zone issues (games usually start at 5 in the morning where I'm at). :manny:

b...b...but Maradona did play in the '94 world cup

dude, stfu. Oh I know soccer, oh I follow so and so players, oh I watch the games, mate. Cheers! :heh:

Seriously, stay in your powerful knowledgeable soccer thread while y'all take turns gagging Coates balls down y'all throats. fukking c00ns.

Anyway, I always thought Zidane was overrated. The true hero for France should have been Thuram or Dessailly, but we all know :mjpls:

I don't hear soccer fans young and old talking all that "back in the day things were so much better blah blah"...

I watched Ronaldo #9 with my pops and uncles, and EVERYBODY recognized him as the TRUTH...No BS about Pele, Maradonna or Cruif were light years ahead...None of that shyt...

Even today, soccer ALWAYS has some fresh new geniuses making the game exciting...And you don't hear old heads saying things like "players back in the day were so much tougher, skilled and this and that"

The only wack World Cup I remember was '94...No bigger than life legend actually rose in that Cup...I know Baggio, Romario, Batistuta, Bebbeto and some others did their thing...

But there was no Pele, Marodonna, Ronaldo #9 or Zidane type of bigger than life legends...

Is it American culture that creates this "the game was so much better back in the day" or what...?
1) I take it you never watch an english coverage on soccer?
2) :childplease: @94 being terrible. Watching Baggio sky that pen over the bar :pachaha: I was young as fukk then but vividly remember that shyt.

talking about sporting tragedies :damn: shyt was so sudden....ESPN should make a 30 for 30 on that shyt :snoop:
