He double dribbled. He only got the step because he picked the ball up and faked the shot and bron went for the contest.
Lebron hit the rim on that block in game 7
Wade shot more FTs than Dallas entire team in 2006
Giants offensive line held on the David Tyree catch
Packers offensive line held on the Arod Hail mary against detroit
James white was short on the last play of the super bowl

every great sports moment has fouls and penalties committed :yeshrug:

:scust: DUDE YOU HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM.

Yea I sure do, casuals that barely watched regular season games are now on a crusade over a standard move like they've been reffing Finals games for years:skip:

Gilbert Arenas had the best point on this, teams have refs that come and officiate their scrimmages. During these scrimmages players will routinely show the refs certain moves to check if they are legal or not. Multiple players have done so with this move and it was deemed ok.

People are acting like this is the first time he ever did that move and he was immediately caught red handed. That is not the case. Many guards have used this move during the season but casuals are watching now and they haven't seen it before; so of course there must be some sort of problem with the move rather than with them

REFS MISS TRAVELS ALL THE TIME.

BRON HAS BEEN TRAVELING HIS WHOLE CAREER
AND RARELY IS CALLED FOR IT.

THAT WASNT HIS TYPICAL STEPBACK.

HE TOOK 4 STEPS AND THE WORLD SAW IT.

TO PRETEND OTHERWISE IS INSANITY.

Agreed. It was a pullback stepback, not a pound stepback.

They are both legal, he has been doing the pullback stepback variation all year with no problems. As have other guards (Kyrie, DeRozen, Butler, Bogdonavich and Rozier both did one in the playoffs as well)

Nope nope & maybe

None of these moments measure up to anything I mentioned for various reasons. Objectivity is key...I bet it never occurred to you maybe I don't care for some people I mentioned.

:banderas:

If not that blazers game it's definitely this shot to go up 3-0 against NO
"oooooo he hit a heavily contested 3pointer to go up 3-0" against a team that had no shot of even winning the series:coffee:.

...And no one saw OP saying KD's 3pointer over LeBron was his iconic playoff moment:dead:? Cavs most likely would've lost even if he airballed that shyt and momentum shifted:dead:

There's nothing objective about any of this, it's all subjective my dude.

If I showed my 18 year old lil brother a clip of IT limping up the court vs LA he wouldn't even know it was a damn finals game. Is that moment any less iconic because he knows nothing about it? Wat if he said said Tim Duncan's bucket against OKC gm 6 in '14 was an iconic moment wat is the 'objective ' metrics used to determine its not? Whose the gatekeeper of said 'objective ' measures?

Like I said, if you're not a fan you're not a fan. Nothing wrong with that, but rewriting history is corny duke.
