He has a good amount of corny shyt, but he does have some good songs and is a highly skilled dude, but he just has so many songs the embodies his weird fanbase that it's hard to get to the good songs.

I've probably said this a dozen times, but as someone that grew up within walking distance of every hood Tech N9ne ever lived in or shouted out....he just wasn't seen as "cool" and image goes a long way in rap. If the people in the area you're from aren't checking for you then it's an uphill battle after that.

Now people respect him because he does a lot locally and always shouts out KC but most of his success obviously came from the ICP crowd. Which is not a good selling point for rap fans.
