How Come the Term/Word "Consociate" Hasn't Had Its Time in the Spotlight for Synonyms for ..........

..."that person" ... or ... "my friend/partna/dun/pal/bro/bruh/breh" .... "associate" is used in business typically ... "acquaintance" is more romantic type, sometimes .... I'm not sure where "consociate" would fit on this spectrum.... but maybe it needs to be co-opted into the lexicon for "breh/bro/partna/bro/dun/pal/dude/friend/familiar acquaintance"

to get to the point, a new word to replace or fill in the murky relationship definitions we have ....

"Nikka" is tough to remove from lexicon, so any decent substitutes...

I don't see "acquaintance" as romantic. I used it more like, "he isn't my friend, he's just an acquaintance". Like we don't chill, I just know him.

I feel like consociate can be used like in a friendlier way, regarding someone you associate with or hang around.
