How come the Wizards dont have fans?

I get it when the Lakers or Knicks come in, that it'll be a road game but if it isn't those teams the place is half empty or it'll be fans of other teams.

The hockey team gets lots of love, The Nats do too and Redskins obsession is borderline unhealthy but Wizards get no support.

I dont care how many non-natives live here, there has to be Wizards fans. Terps and G'Town pull in more fans and the Wizards are a decent team. I dont get it

People in DC just don't care about them but the locals who love all DC sports. I know more diehard Caps fans then Wizards. I think in majority Black areas outside of NY, most Blacks like players more than the team.

Cause they are a pathetic excuse for a franchise. They can have all the talent in the world and find a way to stay around that .500 mark. The skins are the same but they won in the past, these nikkas ain't been shot since the 70's.

The ownership priced out old time fans

The ownership under Polin and now Leonsis value mediocrity by keeping people like Wes Unseld and Ernie Grunfeld in management for decades

The team had been cursed with terrible misfortune since the last NBA Finals appearance in....1979 and the title in 1978.

The loyal fans have been beaten down to death and we realize this team isn't built to win the title because it's built on a crappy foundation of selling picks (Jordan Clarkskn) and drafting busts (Vesley over Leonard) or trading Chris Webber for old Mitch Richmond.

It's a lazy unimaginative organization. They never invest in the right tools.

We need a new GM so bad. Bring Danny Ferry's racist self to DC and he'd make it an ECF team. His father was the GM back in the day.

Them tix ain't cheaper than the Hawks. I go to Wizards games, I can always get tickets for a lot cheaper than Hawks games.

If they get Durant like ya'll are begging for then yeah, the Wizards will sell out but as it stands, no one really cares. The cacs love the Caps and Nats. Everyone who are locals seem to love WAS or DAL.
