Because EDM is a made up term by White Americans who don't understand anything bout non Indie music.

EDM for most part is just crass commercial Dance music(Trance, White folk House, White folk trap, that thing they call Dubstep) that Black people were never in the first place.

In America unless its Soulful House, you ain't gonna see too many Black folks period(djs and partygoers) outside of Detroit.

EDM isn't a specific genre but an umbrella term for many styles of electronic dance music and there are a ton of "black" electronic music producers

nikkas don't even like the music that's why. There is Carnage, he's an afro latino or whatever. I go to hella shows, and I see only like two others lol

not true especially if you know the history of modern electronic dance music and the main cities it has roots/strong holds in

@Don Ibiza Ibrahimovic bros, you see this sh_t here? :dahell:
Madness. And then the rest of the thread will be a confusing mix of people using EDM as a blanket term for literally every form of electronic dance music and other using it just to refer to the big festival stage electro-house/trap momvement.

Lil Jon and Waka were making money doing EDM sets I heard. Ain't my twist so ain't going pretend to know about the real EDM DJs other than them

Not sure as to why there aren't a lot, but black people should definitely get in on it. It's easily one of the most uninspired genres (everybody copies eachother) and black people would easily take it to another level

More brehs should get into that shyt and cake up like these cacs do. Them mf's make house money every show.

Y'all clowned Lil Jon when he started getting into that shyt, and every hip hop and R&B artists who dabbled into that shyt.

Jermaine Dupri was called "broke" and "DJ'ing as a last resort to make money"

Til y'all realized how much dudes like Tiesto,Skrillex and Steve Aoki were making.
