how come they never describe sisters as "the girl next door" type

cause the "Girl Next Door" nowadays is posted up in her bathroom busting it open on Instragram 4 hours a day, the other 4 is spent on facebook talking about how she's ugly and/or fat and ain't no good men but it's okay cause "Da Lawd Gone Bless Me"

It's one of those phrases that's used to relate to middle America. There's certain terms used in the media to make people say "hey this is me, someone I know, my neighbor, etc". They (they being middle america) likes somehow making connections with stories to their everyday lives. And for some reason white America finds it easier to relate to stories when their about people who look like them. They look at a black girl and say "I don't live next to her". Even if she does have that innocent look.
I've been called that before.
