How about he just forgot about Nas? Nas is the GOAT to me but there's so many great rappers it's not hard to leave one off of a list when you're just naming random names. He also "forgot" everyone from the Wu, Cube, LL, Rakim, DMX, etc., etc.; probably just went with the guys he was most influenced by.

Said NaS should keep his Egyptian raps to himself. He was salty about the hhid album. But he totally missed the point of the album. Most southerners did but after he explained it they understood.

t.i. has said before that jay is his favorite rapper....
on untitled nas makes mention of '...and free the nikka tip.' this was during the time his being locked up i believe. there is a mutual respect there im sure.... i dunno if nas entirely wrote that verse though. but thats another thread.
