How come we never had mass shooters when we mercilessly bullied other kids?

I never saw bullying outside of roasting. Half the time everybody knew everybody's people so you'd just tow the line on how much you roasted said person. even then, if you knew how to fight or was good at roasting you weren't even bothered like that.

The only time I witnessed true bullying was among the girls.

They were ruthless to each other. like psychopathic levels of mean, the rumors weren't even funny ones either.

I was in high school when Columbine happened and I live not that far away from Columbine high school right now.

There were school shootings in the 90s before Columbine, that was the the big one that got all the attention because there was a plan attached to it and the shooters made videos on their VhS camera talking about their plans.

Yea, I was in the 9th grade when that happened. I remember rumors about the "trench coat mafia," (Emo white kids) would shoot up the school at noon on a particular day. I went to a Baltimore City school, and there were a handful of them.

You still believe movie and video game violence inspires kids to violence? I dont believe that.

Our movies,video games were far more inspirational if that was the case. I just dont see video game graphics being whats desensitized kids. I think the lack of regard for human life comes from victimizing them. Making them feel like so many different groups of people have no regard for their life.

No I don't think video games causes violence and that's why I gave two examples. I was explaining exposure to violence is more in your face at an earlier age. I'll also toss in there are serious ideological issues in this country as well.
