Thank you for this level-headed response.

While I disagree with your approach, I can definitely see your reasoning. A bit of a scorched earth policy. A few years ago I might have ascribed to such a policy. But with a family now, I'd rather have some small progress through an establishment candidate than the suffering that accompanies a scorched earth policy.

I am single and in my 20s so it is easier to say fukk it without others depending on me. The reality is that I believe the setup is fukked and it is going to collapse sooner or later. Sometimes you just have to cut the cancer out and bombard the wound and surrounding tissues with radiation.
