What was the best way to use the legit business to cover the illegitimate business?

So in Startup, Ronald's crew was running security for the nerds. All Ronald had to do after that was create a security company and employ all his boys. The bonus was he'd have access to all the legal weapons they could get their hands on. No worry about the cops. They'd be licensed and legit.
