In short, it's not 100 pct a skin complexion issue as much as it is a facial features issue. If you're darkskinned and look like this

You're just as good as any lightskinned dude

Symmetrical face/hairline
His nose is a little bulbousey but the rest of his face is so on point that it doesnt matter

Now if you're darkskinned and look like this

You'll probably get clowned by girls all your life

The problem is that West Africa (where our ancestors all hail from) has A LOT more people who look like the 2nd guy I posted than the first. Coli members can scrounge the internet for exceptions all they want but here is Nigeria's national soccer team

If we're going to enforce the one drop rule, what incentive do black people have to not have a lightskinned mixed race wavy haired kid with a narrow nose? My children, simply by being mixed race, would automatically be in the upper echelon of the black dating world and he'd have all the same privileges in the black community that a darkskinned breh with wide nostrils has.

Children that are of a different race to their parent de facto look more different to their parent's race than is the case if said parent and child are the same race.

This is because mixed children are more racially and genetically different to their parent than same race children.

No other race is so accepting of mixed race/race mixing and it's why so many blacks dont mind mixing with other races. If there isnt any social consequence for me or my kid if I mix with another race, why shouldnt I do it? Especially when I see how people drool over various lightskinned celebs

This isn't always attributed to "race" though. Not all black people are familiar with Martin Lawrence and his movies...and not all nonwhite people are oblivious to it.

There's a white chick at my job with whom I was working with one day who claims that she LOVED Martin and that she and her family watched it regularly when it was airing on fox. Now just looking and talking with her, you would never guess that.

Meanwhile I've known some blacks who thought Martin was pure 'Amos n Andy' status.

Is that the norm? Absolutely not.

another thing perplexing me is this chick is a grown ass woman and didn't know where Eritrea was and she must have one side of her family from there.

and although the Eritrean mixed girls I know ( mostly with Italian) are fine as all get out.. the circumstances under which they had white dads was their mothers looking for a come up/ visa/ more European looking babies.

black women in general to me I find more likely to want a mixed baby than men. Its like they want to make some light skinned more European better looking version of yourself. I'm all for getting pretty babies and all for love but to actively and exclusively pursue that is beyond me
