Dave didn’t end Dane Cook. It was Louis CK accusing him of stealing jokes.
I can't believe Dane Cook resorted to stealing jokes it's not like his material was really ground breaking anyways.

Vicious Circle is funnier than anything I've seen from Bill Burr.
Dane was really mad about it and confronted Louis about it and they made up and he appeared on Louis’s show but the damage was already done.
Honestly my personal opinion is a lot of comedians were jealous of Cook’s meteoric rise and were basically like “fukk dude.” Cook was really one of the first “Bro” internet comedians to crossover and I don’t think people took to well to him not coming up the “traditional” way.
I never thought he was gut bustingly hilarious nor was he outright wack. The only white comedian I ever fukked with was Bill Burr so I was indifferent to Cook but I had friend who liked him and used to play his comedy albums in the car when we rode places together so I heard his jokes and he had some funny stuff here and there.
Waiting is a blassic but not because of him lol

I'm probably the slim minority but I actually liked Dane Cook
Dane Cook was the first time I watched a comedy special and had the opposite reaction to laughing. I was actually upset by how unfunny dude was and I never thought I could experience that from comedy. Not laughing is one thing, actually being upset cuz he was so bad is another

Yeah dude fell off a cliff, i remember tourgasm and i was like this nikka trash but people loved him and like that(snaps fingers) he was gone
