How is your personality different NOW than it was before puberty/adolescence? This includes relationships with parents, friends, women, etc. :lupe:

nah. same dude at the root. however I improved on a lot of things in my early adulthood and really learned about myself through experiences. Strengths and weaknesses...how to improve upon / mitigate them.

Somewhere tropic...
Pre-puberty I was very sheltered and innocent to the ways of the world growing up in a strict, Christian home
As a teen, the OG's in the street took me under their wing and schooled me about life
Add that to the morals I got from my parents = the man I am today :obama:

a lot of emotional intelligence/interpersonal related shyt and just being well rounded or open to experiences. Before in highschool I was just very one dimensional. My dad emphasized the importance of education so I really focused on getting into university and didnt care about a anything else. i was pretty cynical too. I used to have gym coaches telling me to join the football team cause of my athleticism, one forced me into track and field but I didnt enjoy it...and i stopped playing soccer (more so my dads fault) just cause I was so focused on school.

Going to school away from home after I had to fend for myself cause none of my homeboys attended university. I had to learn how to go for what I want whether it was to make friends, keep friends, network, get girls and later on even put food on the table. Overall I just stepped out of my comfort zone. Even though I'm still introverted I am a lot smarter, more down to earth, self-sufficient (though not entirely now) and personable now.

A lot of rebelling.
Now I'm coming into my own. Recognizing myself and my affect on the world.
Feel like Gucci on the I'm Up mixtape cover.
A lot more work to do.

Yeah, I feel like I was a lot more social as a kid. It's not that I'm shy now, but I just find most people to be boring whereas as a kid I could strike up a conversation with any and everybody :patrice:

Pre puberty, I was the CACiest black dude in the world
post puberty. I was awkward and shy as hell. I was a lot smarter than before but I was terrified of everything I was so sheltered. I was a goody two shoes.
Late teens. Turned into this insufferable know it all. I was hella corny but a cool dude at the end of the day.
Early adolescence I mellowed out and I turned into this black George Clooney, cool/chill big brother type of guy. I have a lot of more friends and I'm a lot more outgoing and sociable.

Dorne.
Before puberty I was alot more brash and spoke before I thought, as are most children though. During puberty I was really quiet if I didn't know you well but still tactless. Adulthood has taught me the importance of thinking before you speak, and considering the feelings of others. Observe before jumping in, basically.

As an adolescent, I always read alot but I was reading the wrong shyt. I was only reading the biased mess that the media gives us so I didn't understand subjectivity or nationalist propaganda. Besides that, I was always a find the perfect woman, marry her and thats it; since then, I have re-educated myself to learn how my life exists in these socioeconomic conditions and why everything the way it is; in other words, how to think critically and not be sheepish. As far as relationships go, I dropped that shyt when I got to college and had too much fun juggling women. Now, I'm still looking for that one special woman, but its not so focused on that right now; I understand that I can't force it like back then; it will happen when the time is right. My adolescent personality traits are long gone
