French been had a name off the cocaine city DVDs and he was also signed to Akon for awhile..then he met Max B and joined in on the Jim Jones beef in that "Pop Champagne" remix Max B did...Then they dropped Coke wave in late 08 early 09 and that was a classic mixtape in the east and southeast...that's what broke French out of NY because Max already had a big fan base down south and some nikkas in Cali was just catching on the wave right when Max got locked...French made Coke wave and Max got locked right after that...French kept Riding that wave him and max had off that mixtape by doing collabs with brick squad and having that wave sound as well...the rest is history

For some arab muslims, I still don't get how they run around and say "nikka" on tracks (Khaled stopped a minute ago tho).
I think they just stay hot too cuz of their international markets. French is pretty big with Arabs overseas and a lot of Arabic kids listen to rap. Its almost like seeing one of their own make it.
