Just know that if you have to constantly punch in just to complete a verse, chances are you're the type that need a hundred nikkas on stage to help you perform that shyt

I've been in the studio with a bunch of rappers.....one of the only ones that I never seen punch in that would knock out a whole verse in 1 or 2 takes is Freeway....he doesn't even write the shyt down....it's amazing to watch

Punching always has this plasticy feel.. I've determined it's better to just capture a good take

I can hear all these dudes punching in. I hear them at the show with 6 dudes on stage all with mics to cover them cause they can't actually spit the verse.

I get it. It's lazy. It's why most shyt is wack.. laziness I mean.

Last time I saw live local rappers they had the entire track paying in the background with vocals and all. I was so shocked I loudly called it out and even got into a shouting match with another audience member slash crew member... then the next act did it. And the next. It had somehow become normal since last I checked in with the local undergounders. Then I saw famous rappers doing that shyt on stage

That's why everyone is so wack. They don't do any work whatsoever

I ended up arguing with this girl watching Gucci Mane perform. He had the backing track going the whole time and that shyt was driving me nuts. I hate it almost as the rappers with 10 other dudes on stage shouting the ending of the lines since they can't spit it themselves. She was saying how great he was and I'm looking at her like she's crazy. I told her I came to hear him rap his tracks not do karoake.

Even Jay-Z who I loved seeing perform because he's up there by himself spitting everything and has it sounding like the album has to use that trick when spitting Jigga What and a couple other tracks.
