he was still popularity, but Cam'ron was at his highest level of popularity when he dropped "Come Home With Me"
Purple Haze was hyped because it was suppose to have been released sooner, so by the time it dropped and Roc-a-fella was already "over", it sorta got lost in the mix compared to the hype it had before it dropped.
by the mixtapes leading up to the release of his album "Come Home With Me" and when "Come Home With Me" album dropped, that was Cam's peak of popularity

Yea I'm seeing it through rose tinted glass. Cause when purple haze dropped he was THE 1 for me n my crew. we were dipset fanatics. I'm assuming you got some years on me but I can see that objectively when u put it like that.
