Grew up in Miami watching him, although I did not see the 84 season. Dude was absurd in how he attacked the field. Brady reminds me of him, with the killer instinct.

Achilles heel was if a D was able to get pressure on him with the D-line (you couldn't blitz him with the packages known at the time, he'd roast you).

To me Peyton is the GOAT, but Marino is number 2. Montana was a beast as well, even though he didn't have the insane stats. Dude made those Rodgers/Favre type miracle plays to keep the chains moving or score winning touchdowns.

Having seen Marino as a kid is one of the reasons I've always been high on Bortles. I've seen Bortles make some throws that I have only seen Marino make. Again, I am speaking from a pure 'throwing the ball' aspect.

That shyt was flat footed, 60 yards in the air on his hands in stride.

stupid argument. Rings lol

Its really not. When I hear about GOAT QBs, I hear about Montana, Farve, Brady, Peyton, Elway, Starbach before Marino. As goes for Warren Moon. If he won one ring, he would've been up there with Montana.

It really is. Not his fault he never had a 100 yard rusher for a single playoff game.

Marino is always a penalized for shytty management

Just look at Karl Malone. Dude is 2nd all time in scoring but he is not talked about with the rest of the greats because he does not have a ring. Dude is not even considered top 25 player of all time. Hell Dirk will be consider better than Malone because of that ring factor. Is it fair? Nope but that's just the way it is.
