Don't forget Saban bruh..... :scust:

Its sad that Waanstedt was the best coach we've had since Shula(or maybe JJ) and he hasn't even sniffed another head coaching job since(in the NFL)

I just looked it up...he's a special teams coach for Tampa now.
I believe if Saban had stayed and taken Drew Brees (who he wanted; Dolphins brass wanted Culpepper), they would've been battling with the Patriots every year for the NFC East crown.

Because he was the best passer the league has ever known.

I'm old like @NYC Rebel and us being Pats/Jets fans made us witness to all that first hand.

Yep dude release was amazing. Never seen a dude throw the ball that fast. Marino release is the fastest I have ever seen.

Imagine being old enough to remember watching LT in his prime.

:whew:
Marino and LT are still the most phenomenal things I've ever seen in football.

Thr greatest thing about LT was that eerie silence before the snap. There was this moment of silence....anticipation when he was in that stand up stance on the edge and you couldn't see his face in his helmet....when everyone knew he was coming....in the stands....the sidelines....the players.....you knew he was coming at the snap and there was nothing you could about stopping him to get to the quarterback. Nothing.... :to:

Montana didn't have ridiculous counting stats because the 49ers were killing people every week. His passer ratings were :wow:

Two rings before Rice, don't get it fukked up.

Back to Marino, I definitely agree he does not get the credit he deserves. People mentioning Favre alongside Marino is a slap in the face. Favre wasn't better than Young.
