Which has also spawned new regional genres and never given proper credit to future

this. even longer actually. i remember a guest verse from him from like 09 on one of j-money's mixtapes. he was on the national radar with dirty sprite 1 and already had a local buzz with "watch this"
after true story came out, drake hopped on Tony Montana for a remix kinda like he did with Tuesday, My Way, etc... . TI hopped on aint no way around it for a remix. him and drake did a tour back then too. he was taking off. these last few mixtapes just woke up the people who werent paying any attention.

He rode T-Pains wave and put his own twist on it. Added a more street/trap element to auto tune. Add the fact that he promoted the usage of lean, loud, pills, molly etc. pumped out some fire catchy ass hooks and aligned himself with heavy hitters in the industry

Lowkey, people were so busy discrediting Future cause he was only making music for the clubs and car,was from Atlanta,glorified drug use, or wasn't making conventional rapper music.... that they missed that he's been putting out quality shyt for a long ass time.
