Him and Necro use the n-word freely in their rap in front of a black audience, in 1992. I was shocked to see this, considering how different things were back then.

It wasn't a concert, though. It looks like an impromptu performance at a nightclub or something like that

Good question. We have no idea how many Black people were in the audience to begin with.

With that said, the answer to these things is simple: low self-esteem. It's why we keep getting our shyt took.

I don't know if Ill Bill ever received any backlash but Necro definitely did around the early 2000s and even had to apologize for it (he used to have his own forum, where this was addressed).

Also keep in mind that because these are considered underground artist and based on their content, a lot of ish didn't reach the mainstream until dumb late or if even at all.
