I ain't gonna lie, my mom had her "boyfriends" but luckily she always did that shyt at THEIR crib or at least went on "vacation" for a day or two and left us food to cook.



I didn't know how fukked up it was at the time but it was rough. It especially sucked that looking back, she use to take me and my lil sister over to this dude's house after school and make us sit in the car while she was in the house. She would come out after about an hour or more, sometimes almost 2. I used to hate it because I wondered why it was taking her so long to "visit" her friend since I was still a kid at like 10 and didn't really know better. I didn't think anything of it but she was getting dug out by some dusty ass nikka! FUKK DAT DUDE!!!!!!.................................

Why you mad at the dude, breh? You should be mad at your trifling ass moms for leaving you in the car. She's lucky the authorities didn't take yall away from her.

Plus, this was in the days before IPAD and shyt to kill time. Those two hours probably felt like four hours.

I have a potna (raised by single mom, eventually stepdad situation) I grew up with, to this day he will casually express pure hatred for his mom. One day we was talkin about thanksgiving or Xmas and I asked "what time you goin over your mom house. He calmly says "man fukk dat bytch"
Me personally I could never think or say that about my mom in a MILLION years so it had me like "nikka WTF!!! That's your mom!!! That woman fed you clothed you sheltered you put band aids on your scraped knee so wtf"

He calmly says "like I said fukk. That. bytch."

Long story short he went on to share with me(been homies since 7th grade, never told me this) what it was like watching her put her (new dikk) boyfriends before him (so he thought). What it was like hearing his grandmother bad mouth her for being fast and loose with men. What it was like watching her go out her way to please, comfort, and entertain (sometimes at his expense) the new nikka. What it was like being dropped off at random relatives house so she and the new nikka had "home" to themselves, even on holidays. He stopped there but ain no tellin what went on at those random relatives house when he was a kid, and I'm sure he ain in no hurry to tell somebody.

He still shows (fake)respect to her and loves her but he's carrying that heavy resentment around towards her ....and the bottle helps

You ever notice how you never hear of someone killing their mom because of emotional/psychological abuse/neglect?

You're sitting there every day, wishing your mom were someone else that you could simply hurt or kill.

Knowing you can't, because all fingers point to you.

She knows this and still comes and goes as she pleases anf fukks with you.... cause she's your mother and you can't touch her.

Top that off with the fact that you as a man REALLY can't talk to people about how you feel about your mom.

1. Women will defend her, especially if they can't really relate. She's a woman, after all.
2. Men won't respect it, because you're a mam who doesn't love his momma like tupac and boys 2 men told you to
3. Adults won't respect it, because you're a grown man complaining about his mom so they'll look at you like you're 12
4. YOU'LL feel like you're a child cause you can't "deal" with it the way an adult would
5. Family and people that know will rationalize her behavior away, because she's family
6. 9 times out of 10, there's no such thing as "abuse" if it's not physical in other people's eyes... until it happens to them.

you let all that sit in your chest from the time you're a child (fear and hurt) to the time you're an adult (anger).

It'll eat you alive.

It's just the tip of the iceberg, really.
To top it all off, you'll never get past the thought of " why are you doing/did you do this! you're my MOTHER!!!!"
