Jews were not heavily involved in the transatlantic slave trade, with the brief exception of a couple of Carribean islands and Brazil . . . and even then, only while Britain banned its colonists from trading with Spanish colonists.

Once that ban was lifted, Jews were not major players in the slave trade.

Nor is the slave trade relevant...

In regards to white privilege: this is something Jews only got RECENTLY, and only after they already accumulated enough wealth and power to be respected.

A good book on the subject is "The Price of Whiteness" by Eric L. Goldstein.

Even now, Jews don't get the full benefits package of white privilege because they get disproportionately blamed for things that will not be debated in this thread.

Latest would probably be early 70s. Not like "last 10 years" recently.

Anti-semitism was very prevalent in the States, and Jews were very much involved in the civil rights movement. They obviously weren't affected by Jim Crow, but they also couldn't join clubs, couldn't get into the boys club, etc. I would say after the Holocaust happened, leading all the way up to end of civil rights movement, it because more "acceptable" to think of Jews as white.

A jew can be in a room full of whites, but will know which one is a jew just like him, just based off the next dudes name.

In history after the second world war, alot of jews changed their last names to not sound jewish.
