Probably because they have been the most consistent team in the past 15-18 yrs, no one ever expected them to have this sorta run. I mean I remember in 2011 and 2012 people or shall I say chumps saying they were old and washed up. Came damn close in 2013 and won it all in 2014

Same thing happened when they lost to the Clippers in 2015 and as a #1 seed to the Grizzlies in 2011.

It is kind of weird but when you've won five titles within the last decade and a half I guess you're afforded that luxury. Also the current roster's legacy (minus Aldridge) was sealed when they won in 2014 so everything else after was kind of gravy in the eyes of many.

Because they dont say shyt that get into people's skins.

They dont kick people in the groin and try to get away with it.

They don't call other players butthurt

They lose and win with class in a way in which everyone can respect.

honestly OP, it's because OKC is just, and has always been since KD and Russ were together, a REALLY bad match up for us so it wasn't really a surprise to anybody to see them lose to OKC. That's probably why.
