the thing about the Ying Yang Twins is that nobody cared about their songs outside the singles. Damn near ever high schooler knows all of Migos shyt and Ones that are trying to rap tries to imitate them. NOBODY wanted to be like YYT when they were popping.

this...even R&B singers are trying to flow like Migos

Their album is produced nicely. Very catchy/radio friendly hits. Bad and Boujee is an easy classic. With that said, they have plenty songs on Culture, that are single potential, one listen to it (album) and you can tell how they got on the number one spot on the Billboard.

So we have both spectrums covered; Mumble/Ignorant rap and Prolific/Militant rap both going platinum and hitting number 1.

Honestly its a great year for rap.

They were hot until they tried to make a serious album and try to fill that outcast void.

This. Had YYT stayed in their lane, they would have had a more lengthier shelf life. Sometimes, certain artists should realize who they are and just continue to do what they're good at, instead of trying to go left field and fail.
