On the other hand, no one really cared about them after leaving the club. They were good for hits but they never established themselves as individuals. Most people reading this thread probably don't remember their names, or thought their names were Ying and Yang
I'm sure they sold more records and had higher charging singles than the Lox, but they never mattered like the Lox did. And any hip hop fan of a certain age knows Kiss, Styles and Sheek.
They both in two different lanes when it comes to the Lox and YYT though bruh. Lox couldn't make the tracks that YYT made into hit if their lives depended on it and vice versa. We all, down here, took the YYT music for what it was, getting these hoes open

I don't agree with that. Both beats and lyrics mattered at one point. I mean it's one thing to be a weak lyricist but now you can't even understand what they are saying.
Lyrics to these guys is how big the words are at the end of the bar and metaphors

the thing about the Ying Yang Twins is that nobody cared about their songs outside the singles. Damn near ever high schooler knows all of Migos shyt and Ones that are trying to rap tries to imitate them. NOBODY wanted to be like YYT when they were popping.
