90s fashion was kinda dope, though.... why you think some people trynna bring that shyt back?

BIG was ahead of his time wearing Bape :obama:

the shiny suit shyt was a bit much.. but this right here.. DOPE.

I always felt bad for Raekwon. Always wearing the finest polo, tommy and nautical. Selling coke. Being fly. And he had to spend so much time with a bunch of army surplus wearing, bad movie watching homeless dustheads

Fukc your premise. What niqqas are wearing TODAY is some cross dressing non matching swag faq bullsh't. 90s East Coast style IS Hip Hop. Niqqas was making a statement with the oversize clothes, boots, goggles, and nappy hair. Sh't looks dope.

Yeah, that was my era.

I'm not debating the merits of wearing used military clothing. I'm just saying I always felt really bad for Raekwon (and Ghost and Cappa).

Californ-i-a by way of BK
People are funny - if this was 2000 you would be saying that rappers from the 80's looked corny and gay with the way they dressed. Give it another couple of years and the 90's style will be brought back on some retro shyt and everybody will swear by how fresh it is.
The 90s have BEEN brought back. Lol everyone is wearing Hockey jerseys, and Tommy Hilfiger, etc...why you think Nike keeps putting out Retro sneakers? Because they are by far their biggest sellers. Nobody cares about new Nike anything

Yeah, that was my era.

My era too. But only a few people could pull off that look. And it wasn't timeless fashion and the reason why I don't think it will make a comeback.

90's style was fresh to death (:heh:) 80's were sidetracked by early 80's fashion, and the early 2000's shyt just looks silly now, but the clothes/style rappers rocked in the 90's :banderas:

Man some of you are cherry picking shyt. Look at how they was dressing in the movie Juice. Cross Color jeans. nikkas was looking like homeless Vietnam vets. I'm looking at old 9th and 10th grade photos of me and I look like I'm 30 :snoop: west coast nikkas showed me the way. Once hip hop moved away from New York you got a mixture of other styles.......... Meh, nikkas down south was on some other shyt back then though :dead:
