Me too.
Im all for just having the baby and dropping it off at the fire station if you don't want it.
But like you said above, the beginning of life argument is a opinion/belief.
A life outside of the body is the only thing thats concrete and everyone can agree on. Thats why im torn. I can't impose my beliefs on the next person.
The elephant in the room is that if the fertilized egg is not “alive” biologically then there would be no reason to “kill” terminate the pregnancy.
Abortion is just that; a living thing is killed.
If pro choice people would just come straight out and say that, then, the legitimate argument would be, constitutionally does a woman have the right to govern her own body and anything in it.
Unfortunately this opens up it’s own can of worms because if you legistlate that people do have full autonomous authority/rule over their own bodies then we can’t vilify or baker act the person who wants to commit suicide or blow themselves up in times square.
