How did Steve Harvey end up blowing up?

To be honest...I've never even heard his comedy work outside of 'The Kings of Comedy' and shyt like the 'Steve Harvey Show'. I thought the show was great, but when I go back to his KOC bit; it wasn't all that.


Can we get some older clips of this dude being funny?

He started with comedy and then decided to branch out. Simple. Anyone with a good amount of money to invest can write a successful book and host talk/radio shows. He didn't really blow up, he just decided to invest his money/time into something other than comedy.

His staying power is only because he was smart enough to branch out and take opportunities no one else wanted. He's in all forms of media now
